Putting our Agreement in Place In this agreement we are wideshoe4u.co.uk the online shop of Ian W Elsby Footfitters Ltd., 95, St. Johns Road, Waterloo, Merseyside, L22 9QD and you are the person detailed on the order form. Our agreement is made on the date we deduct payment from your credit card the details of which you provided on your order form. Our acceptance of your order by delivery of the goods constitutes a legally binding contract between us on these terms and conditions.
Making a Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online store, click on any items you wish to buy to put them in the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on “checkout” and you will be asked a few details that we need to fulfil your order. We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Electron, Delta, Mastercard, Switch, Maestro, Solo and Paypal You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, and postal mail or over the internet.
Shipping and Handling Delivery within the U.K. and the Channel Islands is FREE OF CHARGE if your purchase value is over £40, otherwise it is charged at £3.50. Deliveries within the European Union are £12.00 for orders of one pair, £18 for two pairs and £24 for 3 pairs or more. Deliveries to the rest of the world are £18.00 for orders of one pair, £24 for orders of two pairs,£30 for orders of three pairs and £40 for 4 pairs or more. Please note we do not refund postage on returned goods. If total value of order after returns is below £40 then shipping of £3.50 will be charged.
Delivery Schedule We endeavour to fulfil orders within 2/3 working days. In the unlikely event of unavailability, we shall e-mail you immediately our expected delivery promise. At any time up to this point you will have the option to cancel. If a particular item you have ordered cannot be supplied, you will be e-mailed with the option to cancel or choose an alternative. We may need to request that goods are sent to you direct from our suppliers in this case allow up to 10 days for delivery. If you do not receive your order within 10 days of us confirming they are available, please let us know by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
Credit Card Security Our shopping system is fully protected from fraud. All credit cards card numbers are encrypted in software when the order is placed using 256 bit encryption from protx/sagepay and transferred using SSL encrypted technology. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.

While there is no doubt that the number and value of internet transactions are increasing, it is also clear that concerns remain regarding the potential for fraudulent use of payment cards on the Internet. Consumers want the convenience of online shopping with the same security protection that exists in the physical world. With that in mind, we recommend you register for the 3-D secure service, if you have not already done so. How does 3D Secure Work Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode - 3-D Secure initially require you to register your card for on-line purchasing. Unless you have done this a second panel will open in the Checkout requesting registration. For your security we advise that you complete the process - remember that you only need to do this once to purchase on any 3D Secure enabled site. For future purchases you will be required to provide a personal password or pin number when paying for goods online with your card just as you would provide a pin on the high street.
Customs and Tax The current UK Value Added Tax (VAT) rate of 20% is applied to orders within the UK & European Union (EU). On orders for the rest of the world and the Channel Islands VAT tax is NOT applied and will be deducted at checkout. Some additional Duty or Tax payment may be due on delivery depending on local import laws. This is not the responsibility of Wideshoes4u and, unfortunately, we are unable to provide information on this issue.
Satisfaction Guarantee and Returns Policy If your not 100% satisfied with your purchase, for any reason, you may return them to us unworn and in the original condition and packaging, within 28 days of despatch. You may request a replacement product which we will despatch to you subject to availability on receipt of the original products which were not suitable for you. Alternately we will provide a full refund using the credit card used when the order was placed. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.
Returning Goods Please make sure your order number is on the returns form and that you obtain a Proof of Posting certificate from the Post Office or courier service so that the parcel can be traced. When returning – the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us safely. Please note that we do not refund the cost of postage.

General If any provision of this agreement is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions of this agreement and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby. This contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law.
